In Loving Memory...

This is a poem I wrote when I was in High School...

A Special Someone

You are always there,
When I need a helping hand.
It's nice to know you care
and that you understand.

You never say a lot,
But what you say is true,
There is a special spot
In my heart for you.

I couldn't have got along,
Without the help from you,
You've taught me right from wrong,
and what is best to do.

At times I've made you mad,
But I've learnt from my mistakes,
I am proud to call you dad,
Because you've got what it takes
.
